At the invitation of Isherwood Geostructural engineers, Heather continues to create a separate collection that chronicles our urban environment and the story of what lies beneath our streets. This exploration has led her below ground, sometimes 100 feet, under the foundations of our homes and places of work.  Heather has gone beneath the streets of the City of Toronto to chronicle the development of the substructures beneath one of Canada’s largest metropolitan centres. She works to capture our built environment and imbues our stories into her work.
